Step back in time to 77 AD and conquer Putt in the Park’s only Roman-themed minigolf course, playing off Colchester’s rich history you’ll march through glorious greens and ascend ancient aqueducts all under the watchful eye of our Roman sculptures.

Family excursions, after-work drinks or lunchtime tournaments Putt in the Park is suitable for all ages, abilities, and occasions. Competition may be fierce on the course,

but our clubhouse is where the whole family comes together over a well-earned lunch.

Refund Policy and Terms & Conditions

Cash Refunds:

Cash refunds are only applicable if:

  • Cancellation is made with more than 48 hours notice to the time of your booking.
  • Severe weather causes an issue to the public’s safety on the course, and PITP is not able to operate. In this event, a staff member will call you to notify that this is the case.

Non-Cash Refunds:

If you are cancelling within 48 hours of your booked time slot for any reason not within PITP’s control two options are available:

  • Your booking can be rearranged for anytime in the future.
  • A voucher, made to the equivalent value of your booked tickets will be issued to be used at any point in the future.

What happens if it rains?

Rounds usually go ahead. If three or more holes are unplayable because of waterlogging, you can claim a 50% refund when you arrive. You can also change or cancel any booking free of charge up to 48 hours before your tee time.

An adult must supervise children on the course. We ask for one adult for every three children, and the adult does not have to play.

What happens if it rains?

Games usually go ahead in most weather. Our licensed cafe sits in the historic park beside the course, so you can wait out a shower with a drink. You can change or cancel up to 48 hours before, and if severe weather stops play a staff member will call you.

Can I turn up without booking?

We take walk-ins when we can. Lower Castle Park is busiest on sunny weekends and through the school holidays, so booking online is the only way to guarantee a tee time.

How big can my group be?

Up to 6 people per booking. For a larger group, book consecutive tee times or ask about our party packages. Colchester children’s parties start at £13.50 per child, minimum six children.
