Twisting greens, awkward bunkers and more water than you would like, designed so a competent adult and a determined four-year-old can play the same round. Visitors ‘Pay and Display’ parking is located within Gunnersbury Park, right next to the golf course. Entrance is accessible via Popes Lane.

BY FOOT/CYCLE

There are a number of pedestrian and cycle entrances to the park on Lionel Road, Popes Lane and the A406, North Circular Road. Bike racks can be found near the museum and Sports Hub – remember to bring a lock with you.

BY BUS

Travelling from Acton Town direction, the E3 stops by the Popes Lane entrance to the park. Travelling from South Ealing direction, the 65 route goes along South Ealing Road. Travelling from Hammersmith or Chiswick take the H91 towards West Hounslow and get off at Vantage West to enter the park via the southern entrance at Lionel Rd North. Travelling from Hounslow west or Osterley use the H91 and get off at Lionel Road.

Do I have to play with my child?

An adult must supervise children on the course. We ask for one adult for every three children, and the adult does not have to play.

What happens if it rains?

Games usually go ahead in most weather. The licensed clubhouse cafe sits next door to the course, so there is somewhere dry and warm to wait. You can change or cancel up to 48 hours before, and if severe weather stops play a staff member will call you.

Can I turn up without booking?

We take walk-ins when we can. Gunnersbury has parking right by the course, which makes it an easy stop for families arriving on the day, so weekend slots go quickly. Book online to be certain.

How big can my group be?

Up to 6 people per booking. For a larger group, book consecutive tee times or ask about our party packages. Gunnersbury hosts children’s parties from £23.50 per child, minimum six children.

Is there parking at Gunnersbury Park?

Yes. Pay and display parking is right by the course. The nearest station is Acton Town.
